Yoga Nidra is "yogic sleep," but it doesn't require doing acrobatics on a mat. It's a lying-down technique, accessible to everyone, regardless of physical fitness. It's a powerful tool in the fight against chronic stress and PTSD.
Deeper than Relaxation
During a Yoga Nidra session, the brain enters a state of Theta and Delta waves (usually only accessible during deep sleep), while maintaining a spark of awareness. This allows for:
- Releasing deep emotional tensions.
- "Reprogramming" the subconscious (through Sankalpa - intention).
- Regeneration at the cellular level.
