In the middle of your workday, do you feel like your brain is overheating? Are you overstimulated, experiencing "brain fog," and reading the same email for the fifth time? You don't need another coffee (that will only increase tension). You need a neuro-reset. Here are techniques that work in 60 seconds.
1. "Blurred Vision" Technique (Panoramic Vision)
Stress narrows your field of vision (tunnel vision). To signal safety to your brain, do the opposite.
- Look straight ahead.
- Without moving your eyes, try to see the walls on your left and right.
- Blur your vision, as if looking far into the horizon.
- Maintain this state for 30 seconds. You'll feel an immediate relaxation of your facial muscles.
