Your brain hates uncertainty. It would rather know for sure that things will go wrong than live in the limbo of "what if?". The fear of the unknown is one of the deepest existential fears. In today's world, where everything changes daily, the ability to tolerate uncertainty is a key mental health skill.
Acceptance, Not a Fight
You cannot predict the future. Make peace with that. Instead of trying to control the uncontrollable, focus on what is within your "circle of influence": your reactions, your preparation, and your actions.
Act "In Spite Of"
Don't wait until you feel 100% confident to take action. That confidence will never come. Take the first step, despite the fear. Action is the best antidote to uncertainty because it gives you a sense of agency.
